Super Bowl LIII saw the New England Patriots take home their sixth win (13-1) in the big game against the Los Angeles Rams to determine the champion of the National Football League for the 2018 season. Off the field, one of the biggest competitions is the public voting in USA TODAY’s Ad Meter poll. The ads that topped the poll ranged from the funny to the inspirational and included #1 NFL ‘The 100 Year Game’ and #2 Amazon ‘Not Everything Makes the Cut’.
The NFL's two-minute ode to itself finished first in the annual ranking of Super Bowl ads by consumer rating with a tour de force of many of the greatest players in NFL history chasing a loose football. In the other top-five videos on the humorous side, Amazon's ad explored what can go wrong with Alexa.
