The Mill celebrated Valentine’s Day with a series of workshops and treats for staff.
Inspired by the designs the Mill animation team created for the British Heart Foundation latest campaign 'Thank You' , the windows have been decorated all week with a 'beating heart' light installation, and we raised further donations on their behalf with an office-wide love-line that allowed staff members to text in with a message of affection that was broadcast on internal screens. For every text sent, The Mill contributed £1 to BHF’s fundraising endeavours.
Each staff member was also gifted specially-designed postcards and a British Heart Foundation wristband.
Alongside jars of heart-shaped sweets on each floor, the lifts in the building were jam-packed with balloons, creating a striking visual and a perfect selfie opportunity!
Staff also got creative in a workshop designing loved ones hand-crafted Valentine’s cards.
There was also an opportunity to order romantic, seasonal bouquets of flowers from London florist Phlox.
And on Tuesday 13th February, we welcomed premium male grooming brand Beast into the office, to showcase their range of beauty products, (both male-oriented and unisex) including fragrances, candles, hand cream and lip balms. You can see some pictures of the pop-up on our Instagram!
Love, as well as a few stray balloons, has definitely been in the air here at The Mill.
